My story

Where it all began…

As a kid, I was a destructive artist and a terrible entrepreneur.

I loved going down the craft isle at any store always begging my mom to buy me some sort of craft item. When Thanksgiving or Christmas was being held at my parents house I always made sure I had ornaments ready to craft for all of my cousins. Or I would set up a fake airport with paper passports, stamps, and handcrafted tickets for my sister’s pretend flight to Portugal.

In high school, I took a scrapbooking class and that’s where my passion really began. I loved scrapbooking so much I made ten in one year! And no, my life wasn’t that interesting where I needed ten scrapbooks. I started taking more art classes, like metal smithing, and began crafting everything and anything I could.

You’d think I’d learn by college what I wanted to do in life... but oooh no.

I wanted to have a creative, artistic life but I also had dreams of being a boss business lady. When I went to college, it made sense that I frequently flip-flopped majors and minors between accounting, marketing, and graphic design.

I went through so many different jobs after college trying to find my path. From working at a hair salon, to my father’s granite company, a mortgage firm, event planner’s assistant, branding coordinator for a tech company, and I even owned a bar. I know, crazy! All before the age of 28.

In 2020, I began working for a conference company in New York City and I’m currently responsible for handling all conference marketing initiatives there.

But my passion to craft has led me to start my own journey. And now I spend my days crafting beautiful things for beautiful people.
